Curious Lizard - Chris

This water dragon has been foraging around our backyard for the past few days so I decided to get the camera out and take a few snaps. Surprisingly, he wasn't afraid of the camera and let me get right up close which allowed me to focus on the detail of his scales.

I think you read my mind to-day, what brand of camera do you have? and model? and how long have you had it, digital? I presume?

Hope you don't mind all the questions.

Wonderful work incidentally, thought it, forgot to say it.

Haha that's not a problem katyzzz. It's an Olympus E500 digital SLR. It's the model before the current DSLRs that Olympus have just released.

I bought it about two years ago. It's a great camera but I'd really like to upgrade to one of the new models. The E550 is the next one up and then there's the E1, but then you're talking serious money.

Great shots! Natural light or did you have to augment?

Thanks James.

All natural light. It was fairly late in the afternoon and the sun was bright on his back which was perfect for bringing out his green and yellow scales.
